Tim Daniel founded THD Advisory Group on a simple but powerful belief: that businesses deserve legal counsel and strategic guidance that is fully aligned with their goals — not just their legal matters.
A practicing attorney for more than 20 years, Tim began his career in private practice before spending more than a decade as North America Vice President and General Counsel for one of the world's leading global supply chain and logistics companies. In that role, he oversaw the company's U.S., Canada, and Mexico legal, real estate, and risk management functions — and led initiatives that reduced annual real estate and external legal spend by more than $50 million.
That experience — managing complex transactions, leading cross-functional teams, and driving measurable business results — is what Tim brings to every client engagement at our firm. He understands what it means to sit in the client's seat, and that perspective shapes how the firm operates.
At our firm, Tim oversees all Corporate Client Services — guiding businesses through mergers and acquisitions, commercial real estate, complex transactions, and fractional general counsel engagements. He works closely with clients to evaluate opportunity, mitigate risk, and make sound decisions at every stage of their business. He also leads the firm's Private Client Services practice, ensuring individuals and small businesses receive the same level of strategic counsel and hands-on guidance as our largest corporate clients.
Tim earned his B.A. with Honors from The University of Texas at Austin and his J.D. from the University of Houston.
Kenneth J. Burch, Senior Counsel & Advisor
Kenny is a practicing attorney with more than 25 years of experience, the majority of which has been spent in-house as a general counsel helping companies navigate complexity, manage risk, and achieve their business objectives.
Before joining our firm, Kenny spent more than 17 years with a global supply chain and logistics company, ultimately serving as Group Chief Legal Officer — overseeing the legal function through a period of significant growth, including a successful IPO and ultimate sale to a strategic investor. That experience shaped a practice built on real-world business judgment.
Kenny brings deep expertise in corporate governance, capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, risk management, compliance, commercial transactions, and litigation management — and the perspective that comes from having sat on both sides of the table.
Kenny earned his B.A. in Accounting from Texas A&M University and his J.D. from St. Mary's University.
Nhi Whitehead, Senior Counsel & Advisor
Nhi is a practicing attorney with more than a decade of experience spanning estate planning, business formation, contract drafting and review, and outside general counsel services.
At our firm, Nhi is a key member of our private client services group, focusing on estate planning and immigration services. She also supports corporate clients in litigation management, organizational oversight, and due diligence on complex commercial transactions.
The daughter of Vietnamese immigrants, Nhi has dedicated her pro bono work to immigration law throughout her career. Through South Texas College of Law's Human Trafficking and Asylum Clinic, she served as both student attorney and staff attorney — representing individuals seeking DACA status, asylum, refugee protection, and special immigrant juvenile status.
Nhi earned her B.A. in Economics from Baylor University and her J.D. from South Texas College of Law.
Matilde Robinson, Senior Paralegal
Mattie has been an integral part of THD Advisory Group since 2021, bringing precision and dedication to every client she serves.
As Senior Paralegal, she specializes in corporate services — including entity formation and the drafting, reviewing, and filing of organizational documents, resolutions, written consents, and minutes. She is a trusted point of contact for clients, their in-house legal departments, and outside advisors, keeping communication seamless across every engagement.
Before joining our firm, Mattie spent 15 years in-house with a global supply chain and logistics company, ultimately serving as Corporate Paralegal and Executive Assistant for its North America legal department. She has also served corporate clients as a freelance paralegal.
Mattie is a member of NALA, The Paralegal Association, and a commissioned notary public. She lives in Houston with her husband and daughter and enjoys the outdoors, reading, and dancing.
